Engineering Portion
1. Visit the site as necessary to document existing conditions.
2. Measure the existing normal/emergency loads to determine the existing electrical loads that would be placed on the emergency generator during a power outage.
3. Make selection of a new emergency generator.
4. Develop site plan for submission to local zoning board.
5. Develop a scaled signed and sealed plan with necessary construction details.
6. Make final plans available in electronic format (PDF).
Installation Portion
1. Make purchase of generator and necessary automatic transfer switches.
2. Engage an electrical contractor, having over twenty (20) years experience in generator installation and who is licensed to work within the state who will prep the site for the generator, install all electrical devises, and provide all conduit wiring.
3. Provide coordination between generator manufacturer and selected electrical contractor for delivery and installation of the emergency generator.
4. Make periodic inspections of the work during the course on construction to assure compliance with the engineered drawings.
5. Provide "As-Built" drawings and equipment maintenance manual at the completion of all work at the worksite.
